We’re seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and performance of our plant and equipment across a growing macadamia operation. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the delivery of timely, cost-effective maintenance and repair services for farm equipment and infrastructure, ensuring all company assets are well-maintained and protected.
Key Responsibilities
As the Maintenance Manager at our Fitzroy Macadamia Operations, you will be responsible for:
* Delivering timely and cost-effective breakdown, repair, and maintenance services for farm plant and equipment
* Ensuring company assets are protected, maintained, and replaced as required
* Maintaining plant and machinery in accordance with manufacturer standards
* Supporting the development and ongoing improvement of workshop systems including record keeping of maintenance activities, servicing and parts
* Upholding standards to ensure an inclusive, and respectful workplace
* Leading by example in promoting safe and precise work practices
* Identifying worker training needs and ensuring all team members are informed, instructed, and competent to perform their tasks safely
Requirements
To be successful as the Maintenance Manager, you’ll need a solid mix of technical qualifications, practical experience, and a proactive, team-focused attitude.
* Qualifications
* Certificate III or higher in an Engineering trade or other relevant field (Mechanical and/or Metal Fabrication, Diesel Mechanic etc.)
* Current C Class Driver’s Licence
* Senior First Aid certification
* Forklift Licence
* Trade experience, ideally within an agricultural setting
* Familiarity with farm machinery, GPS systems, spray rigs and tillage equipment is highly regarded
* Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills
* Proficiency in operating specialised machinery, plant and GPS-guided tractors
