About The Role
Responsible for delivering a holistic System Safety Program within a CASG environment, ensuring compliance with Defence engineering and safety frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver System Safety Program aligned to CASG regulatory requirements
* Conduct system safety analysis and support Verification & Validation (V&V)
* Coordinate system safety activities across lifecycle phases
* Lead System Safety Reviews and Working Groups
* Develop safety artefacts including:
o Safety Case Reports
o Hazard Analysis reports
o Safety plans, procedures, and documentation
* Review contract deliverables from a safety perspective
* Ensure compliance with Defence and international safety standards
* Evaluate design packages and support implementation of safety actions
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Engineering degree (Washington Accord recognised)
* Chartered Professional Engineer (or equivalent)
* Experience delivering system safety programs
* Knowledge of CASG safety frameworks and standards
Additional Requirements
* Experience coordinating safety activities in acquisition and sustainment environments
* Strong understanding of Defence regulatory compliance
