We are currently seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a well-equipped and busy workshop based in Jandakot. This is a temporary to permanent position, offering consistent hours, a great team environment, and the prospect to secure long-term employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance and repairs of bins, truck components and other equipment.
- Operate workshop equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organise work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualification.
- Strong welding and metal fabrication skills (MIG/TIG/Oxy-Acetylene).
- Demonstrated experience as a welder/fabricator with a strong background in metal fabrication and welding.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency (essential).
Position Details:
- Temp to perm position
- 38 hours per week
- Rate: $38 -$40/hr + penalties
- Location: Jandakot
