This is a role for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the team at Geraldton Hospital in the Midwest.
To be successful, you will have:
1. credentialed diabetes educator status or completing mentoring process within 6 months of employment
2. extensive clinical experience and specialist knowledge in the area of specialty
3. effective analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
4. effective interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
5. ability to design, implement, evaluate, and support Quality Improvement Projects/Activities
6. ability to develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and guidelines using research findings to support evidence-based practice
7. ability to identify nursing staff learning needs, develop orientation and clinical teaching opportunities, and programs
Position Profile:
Provides a clinical consultancy service to Aboriginal patients and families, staff, and other health professionals within WACHS Midwest. Promotes excellence in clinical standards and quality care. Demonstrates leadership and role modeling.
