Responsibilities
In partnership with the Mental Health Leadership team and responsible for the delivery of quality patient care within their speciality.
Support the Mental Health Nursing team by supervising the delivery of quality patient care, developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, educating staff and initiating research and quality improvement activities.
Responsible for the provision of an emergency department service within their area of expertise assigned to customers within the ED and Hospital.
As a senior nurse have professional accountability to the Mental Health Director of Nursing and Midwifery and provide mentorship and role modelling for nurses and contribute to the advancement of the profession, in keeping with the vision and values for Fiona Stanley Nursing.
