42 hours continental day and night shift pattern
Role Responsibilities
* Repair all faults arising on any plant or equipment on site
* Respond to breakdowns as quickly and efficiently as possible
* In the event of multiple breakdowns consult with management to prioritise
* Carry out planned maintenance and installation work as and when required
* Be responsible for the quality and safety of the work in accordance with current legislation
* Log all relevant information and data in the CMMS system
* Carry tasks out to a high degree of workmanship in an environment striving for continuous improvement
* Report and order spare and critical parts when needed
* Keep the workshop and stores clean, tidy and safe at all times
* Be responsible for own safety by performing tasks in a safe and timely manner in accordance with Company Health and Safety Rules and Working Practices (Health and Safety Charter of Rules)
Role Requirements
* Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a similar technical role
* Competency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
* Familiarity with planned preventive maintenance processes
* Ability to use and update CMMS or other maintenance tracking systems
* Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
* Flexible to respond to out-of-hours issues when required
