About the Role - Safety Advisor
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Safety Advisor to join our dynamic team on the Hunter & Central Coast areas! If you’re looking for a long-term career in Safety within the civil construction industry with a company that values dedication and growth, we want to hear from you!The Safety, Health and Environment, Quality (SHEQ) Advisor is a critical role within the organisation, responsible for partnering with the business and SHEQ leadership to develop, implement and drive SHE strategy & tactics. The SHEQ Advisor will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate SHE into all aspects of the business, ensuring that SHE risks are identified, managed and controlled in line with all relevant regulations, codes and best practices. Coach & mentor front line personnel, to ensure effective translation of best practice SHE thinking and leadership into operational practices.
Desirable qualifications and experience
Diploma in Work Health and Safety ICAM lead investigator and Workplace Rehabilitation and Return to Work CoordinatorInternal and lead auditor certification for safety or environment, quality ISO standardsMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within Construction, Manufacturing, or Heavy IndustryCert IV in Training and AssessmentStrong leadership and coaching skills with demonstrated experience in WHS initiativesExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsKnowledge of Australian and International Standards for Safety and Health, Quality, and Environmental Management systemsAbility to manage external contractors and ensure compliance with SHEQ requirementsProactive and innovative approach to health, safety, environment, and qualityAbility to work autonomously.

About the Role - Quality Advisor
The Quality Advisor is a key role to assist in ensuring quality standards are met across all Eire Constructions' civil infrastructure projects through providing guidance, support and coaching. Working alongside the SHEQ team, the Quality Advisor provides hands-on site-based support to project teams, ensuring all work meets statutory regulations, industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001), and Eire’s internal policies and procedures. This role involves conducting quality inspections, risk assessments, and audits while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and best practice across the business.They are accountable for:Quality Management & ComplianceInspection, Testing & DocumentationContinuous Improvement & TrainingStakeholder Engagement & CommunicationRisk & Defect ManagementSafety, Health and Environmental (SHEQ Team) Support
Desirable qualifications and experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential).Certification in quality management or auditing (desirable).Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, with a strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, including ISO standards for WHS, Quality, and Environment.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality management in civil construction projects.Experience conducting quality audits, inspections, and compliance monitoring.Deep knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), ISO standards for WHS (e.g., ISO 45001), Environment (e.g., ISO 14001), and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and quality/SHEQ management software (Skytrust).Ability to provide training and coaching to site teams on SHEQ procedures and best practices.
