Harrup Park is home to the iconic Great Barrier Reef Arena and delivers major sporting events, dining, entertainment and member experiences to over 28,000 members. As our organisation continues to grow, we're seeking an organised and motivated HR Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
About the role
Reporting to the HR Manager, this hands-on HR Assistant role supports recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, employee records and general HR administration in a fast-paced hospitality and events environment.
This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to learn, contribute and grow within a supportive team.
Key responsibilities
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding processes
* Maintain HR systems (TANDA, Compliance Trackr, employee records)
* Monitor and respond to HR inbox enquiries
* Prepare HR documentation and employee files
* Review and process timesheets
* Coordinate uniforms and PPE
* Provide general HR administrative support
* Support HR projects and initiatives as required
About you
* Studying HR or related field OR minimum 1 year HR/administration experience
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Confident communication and interpersonal skills
* Professional, reliable and discreet
* Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Requirements (Club environment):
* QLD RSA (or ability to obtain)
* Food Safety Certificate (or ability to obtain)
