Job Overview
This role is a key contributor to the Department's leadership team, driving patient access initiatives and collaborating with clinicians and administrative teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Optimizing clinic and theatre slot allocation to ensure seamless patient flow.
* Managing outpatient and inpatient waiting lists on behalf of senior management.
* Participating in performance reviews and contributing to data-driven decision-making processes.
The successful candidate will require exceptional communication and leadership skills, as well as experience in managing complex administration systems and optimizing patient care pathways.
Main Duties:
1. Leading the review of patient demand and capacity planning to inform resource allocation decisions.
2. Ensuring accurate data reporting and analysis to support informed business decisions.
3. Coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
Strong knowledge of NHS administration systems, waiting list management, and patient booking processes are essential for this role. Experience in delivering 18-week operating standards and managing multiple priorities would be highly beneficial.
