About the Role
You'll support SCI's Direct customers by managing end‑to‑end underwriting activities - risk assessment, quoting, customer communication and policy fulfilment - while contributing to portfolio growth and our reputation for service excellence.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, embraces continuous improvement, and takes ownership of performance and development.
What You'll Do
Apply underwriting guidelines to drive profitable portfolio growth
Build trusted relationships with customers, understanding their needs
Maintain high standards of accuracy, workflow management and system integrity
Share insights to enhance SCI's products and processes
Collaborate with colleagues across states to support our vision
About You
2+ years' property underwriting experience (strata preferred but not essential)
Experience in General Insurance underwriting or underwriting administration
Tier 2 General Advice qualification (or willingness to complete)
Strong ability to interpret complex product coverage and assess risk
Proven capability in achieving targets within a fast‑paced environment
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and customer focus
