T and K Support Services is a values-driven disability support provider with hubs in Ballan and Ballarat, Victoria. We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers in the Bacchus Marsh, Ballan and Ballarat areas for an immediate start. This is a casual position with ongoing shifts, and the potential for permanent part-time employment for the right candidates.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for support workers who are:
* Passionate about person-centred support
* Skilled in building real connections and supporting people with complex needs, including those with mental health challenges, AOD (alcohol and other drugs) backgrounds, and psychosocial disabilities
* Comfortable working across a range of settings — in participants' homes, SIL (Supported Independent Living) environments, and out in the community
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day support with personal care, domestic tasks, and meal preparation
* Assist with community access, appointments, and transport
* Encourage and support capacity building and independence
* Build strong, trusting relationships with participants and their care teams
* Respond with empathy and professionalism in challenging or complex situations

Desirable:
* Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions, AOD backgrounds, and dual diagnoses
* Familiarity with trauma-informed care and/or positive behaviour support
* A genuine interest in walking alongside people as they navigate challenges, grow, and reclaim their independence

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 38 per week
Education:
* Certificate I - IV (Required)
Experience:
* Community Services or related field : 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Driver Licence (Required)
* First Aid Certification (Required)
* CPR Certification (Required)
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (Required)
* Working with Children Check (Required)
