General Practitioner: MMM2 and DPA
GP2Oz Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Practitioner to join a collegial primary healthcare team in Townsville, QLD. This is a full‐time position with a competitive remuneration offering: 63% billings, an income guarantee on arrival, and in‐house educational opportunities.
As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high‐quality, patient‐centered care.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting consultations with patients to assess their medical conditions and provide appropriate treatment
* Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications as needed
* Providing preventative care and health education to patients
* Managing chronic conditions and coordinating care with specialists as required
* Maintaining accurate and up‐to‐date medical records
* Participating in clinical meetings and qualified development activities
* Adhering to all relevant medical laws, regulations, and ethical standards
Requirements
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the ability to gain this
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Practitioner
* Robust communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to providing high‐quality, patient‐centered care
* Availability to work full‐time, including some evenings and weekends
