Inclusive Employment Specialist
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in creating pathways to employment for individuals with disability, mental health conditions, or other barriers.
As an Inclusive Employment Specialist, you will support participants to achieve their employment goals by delivering tailored job readiness activities, building employer partnerships, and providing end-to-end case management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with participants to identify employment goals and create associated action plans.
* Conduct initial assessments, develop Job Plans, and implement work-readiness strategies.
* Prepare participants for the workforce through skills development, training, work placements, and confidence-building.
* Engage with employers to create inclusive job opportunities and build sustainable partnerships.
* Provide personalised on-the-job and post-placement support.
* Maintain accurate case notes and records in internal systems.
* Meet performance targets and manage caseloads effectively.
About You:
* Experience in disability employment or an understanding of the barriers faced by individuals with disability, mental health, or medical conditions in accessing employment.
* Cert IV in Employment Services, Disability Services, or similar, or willingness to obtain qualifications if employed.
* Passionate about making a meaningful impact through employment.
* Highly developed communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
* Confident in employer engagement to create employment opportunities.
* Ability to create and foster relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders, including cultural and disability groups.
* Strong administration and organisational skills with attention to detail, especially in compliance.
* Confidence with case-management systems, reporting processes, and IT systems.
* Willingness to obtain or hold a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
