The Field Service Team Leader is responsible for developing the technical skills and abilities of Field Service Technicians through training, guidance, and onsite assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure efficient communication with technicians regarding operational and technical matters.
* Maintain adherence to workplace health and safety policies.
* Guarantee safe work practices across all tasks, considering customer site conditions and requirements.
* Assist technicians in meeting service timelines as per quoted schedules.
* Verify that technicians adhere to high standards for service van cleanliness, personal grooming, and presentation.
* Establish regular contact with Field Service Controllers and Field Service Managers.
* Support technicians in optimizing labor utilization, paperwork, and operational efficiency.
* Resolve customer issues in collaboration with the Field Service Controller and/or Field Service Manager.
* Work with technicians to maintain accurate inventory stock levels.
Suitable candidates will have experience leading teams in similar environments, relevant trade qualifications, expertise in maintenance of industrial equipment, and excellent customer service skills.
