What is the job?
As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you’ll welcome guests, recommend food and drinks, and help keep service on-track and up to standard. By tailoring each guest’s experience to their tastes, you’ll create memorable moments that enhance the dining experience.
Your day to day
- Create a warm welcome to everyone and set the tone for each guest experience
- Prepare and serve beverages. Present and serve food according to established health and presentation standards
- Maintain the bar – keep it clean and tidy, and ensure alcohol is always secure
- Handle cash and credit transactions
- Look smart – wear your uniform with pride
- Be ready to assist in other departments when required
- Follow safety procedures
- Monitor guest behaviour and alcohol consumption to determine when service should cease; notify management of incidents; check identifications when required
- Clear and clean tables promptly; maintain restaurant cleanliness
- Encourage guest feedback and act on service recovery to ensure guest satisfaction
What we need from you
- RSA – valid in Tasmania
- Flexible across mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Articulate – a great communicator, warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
- Based in Hobart and available immediately, or relocating soon
