About the Opportunity
The School of Engineering is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and enthusiastic Senior School Officer (Engagement) to join our operational team. This role is integral to supporting the School’s operations, staff, and students, with a particular focus on high school and outreach engagement activities.
As the Senior School Officer (Engagement), you will contribute to the planning, coordination, and delivery of efficient and impactful engagement programs. You will help build connections with schools and the broader community, assist in organising events and initiatives, and support communication efforts to enhance engagement with prospective students and stakeholders.
You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting outreach activities, ensuring they align with the School’s strategic goals and deliver meaningful outcomes.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering high-quality service and engagement experiences.
About you
:
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and deliver a broad range of high level administrative services and functions with attention to detail and ability to accurately maintain administrative systems and procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, including secondary school students, teachers, and other stakeholders, while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Possess strong computer literacy skills demonstrated through ability to efficiently use a wide range of software and digital tools to support workplace productivity and communication.
Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify potential challenges, independently develop timely solutions, and take initiative in completing tasks.
