About Our Client

We are supporting a key client in their continued growth, as they seek to enhance the capability within a recently acquired business. The business operates in industrial spaces - it's not flashy, but the business has long established roots and a history of success. With recent investment that has led to growth with more projected, and now is the right time to uplift the financial management capability of the subsidiary business to ensure that growth is not stunted or slowed. This is a group that moves quickly and makes an impact, and as such this promises to be an exciting opportunity for the successfully appointed Finance & Administration Manager.

Job Description

The newly created Finance & Administration Manager will be a rounded position, overseeing the finance and administrative functions of the business. Core responsibilities include:

* Manage and oversee the financial operations, with ownership of the AP and AR functions and processes for the business.
* Support the Group CFO with the budgeting and forecasting process.
* Own the month end close process, including journals, accruals and all reconciliations.
* Coordinate and manage administrative processes to ensure efficiency.
* Support the leadership team with financial insights and strategic planning, including drafting management reports.
* Provide leadership and management to a mid-sized team.
* Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance & Admin Manager should have:

* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and/or Professional certification (e.g., CPA or CA) is highly regarded.
* Extensive experience in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing sector, with a premium on AP and AR ownership and management.
* Exposure to payroll administration would be advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
* Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
* The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Comfort with a site-based role in the Yatala area.
