About the Role
Curtin University Library ensures that students are equipped with the skills necessary to excel in their studies.
The Project Coordinator will play a key role in enhancing opportunities for students to develop key AI literacies, designing and delivering targeted learning opportunities that enable them to succeed at university and beyond.
Your Responsibilities
Coordinate the development, delivery, and evaluation of a range of synchronous and asynchronous artificial intelligence-focused skills development opportunities, suitable for university students.
Coordinate professional development opportunities for library staff, ensuring they have the skills required to support students in their learning.
Make recommendations to the Manager, Learning Success and the broader Library Strategy Team on future development of the artificial intelligence service, proactively identifying risks and ensuring alignment of the service with Library and University priorities.
Perform quality assurance on Library-managed AI applications, including Grammarly.
Develop communication plans and relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the AI service meets the requirements of Curtin students, including Higher Degree by Research students.
Selection Criteria
A relevant degree with considerable relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and / or education / training.
Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and implement project plans to achieve desired outcomes within resourcing constraints.
Demonstrated high level interpersonal and oral communication skills, with the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people and with cross-cultural sensitivity.
Demonstrated high level written communication skills, with the ability to construct clear and concise project reports.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple and often competing tasks with attention to accuracy and detail within deadlines.
Proven ability to work well in a team, including respecting difference, leading and supporting others, accepting direction, and working to group goals.
Demonstrated effective decision making and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools and the ways in which they can be applied in the learning and teaching context.
Experience working in higher education, including demonstrated experience in designing learning experiences appropriate for a university audience.

Role Requirements
As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
