What you will do
* Provide expert assessment and intervention for children and young people with dysphagia and AAC needs.
* Engage in active networking with other regional and national specialists, including Clinical Excellence Networks.
* Instigate and manage change within the team, ensuring best practices are adopted.
* Mentor and support other Speech and Language Therapists, providing clinical supervision.
* Collaborate effectively with school staff to support students within educational settings.
* Lead a team within a defined service area, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
* Utilise excellent interpersonal skills to work within a multi‐disciplinary team and communicate sensitively with families and colleagues.
Requirements
* HCPC registration is essential to provide assurance of your skills and professionalism.
* A valid driving licence is needed to travel between locations and provide flexible support where necessary.
* Demonstrated experience in dysphagia and AAC, as well as a strong capability in managing complex caseloads.
