The role
N experienced and customer-focused Patient Liaison Officer role, joining a large, fast-paced healthcare environment on an 8-month contract. Key Responsibilities Manage high-volume communication with patients, families, carers and internal stakeholders Determine patient classifications, including Medicare eligibility Collect and verify patient information, including private health insurance details Conduct financial discussions and facilitate upfront payments where required Liaise with health funds regarding eligibility and coverage Support revenue recovery processes, particularly for ineligible patients Key Requirements Previous experience in healthcare - MUST Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to confidently deal with challenging conversations High attention to detail Team-oriented, adaptable and solutions-focused approach Key Benefits Immediate start opportunity within a supportive team Exposure to a large, complex and fast-paced healthcare environment Meaningful role supporting patient outcomes and experience If you have the relevant experience and are interested please click apply or email caitlin.wilcox@perigongroup.com.au
