The Job
As a Disability Support Worker, you will work with clients to provide full assistance with personal cares, medication administration, meal preparation and feeding assistance, completion of transfers, and many other duties.
Your Responsibilities
* Supervise and assist clients during showers and transfers
* Provide domestic cleaning assistance to maintain a safe and healthy environment
* Achieve community access goals through accompanying clients on outings
About You
* Certificate III in Individual Support or above is required
* A valid manual handling certificate is essential
* Current First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory
* A Yellow Card/NDIS Worker's Screening Check is also necessary
* Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module is required prior to commencement
* English fluency - verbal and written communication skills are essential
