Mining Employment Services is recruiting Geologists for a mix of campaign‑style and longer‑term site‑based opportunities with well‑regarded explorers and producers.

1) Resource Definition Geologist – Gold (LD18249) | FIFO Perth 8:6 | Contract
We're seeking an experienced RD Geologist to support busy near‑mine surface resource definition programmes (RC & diamond) at a leading Australian gold operation.
Supervise RC and diamond drilling; ensure safe, efficient daily rig activities
Chip/core logging, sampling, QA/QC and accurate data entry
Mentor Graduate/Field Geologists and liaise with operations, contractors and Technical Services
Contribute to geological interpretation, grade control/reconciliation as required
Daily/weekly reporting on progress, costs and outcomes
Key requirements:
* Geology degree (essential)
* 2+ years surface drilling experience (RC & diamond)
* Strong safety focus and solid logging/sampling/data management capability
* Geological software exposure (Surpac/Leapfrog + MS Office advantageous)
Campaign‑style exploration work supporting RC drilling and soils programmes, with multiple programmes planned across 2026 for strong performers.
Start: March 2026
FIFO: Fly in/out of Kalgoorlie
Accommodation: mobile camp (kitchen/shower caravan, tents & swags)
Hours: long field days typical of RC programmes
Support RC drilling and soils programmes under senior supervision
RC chip logging, QA/QC and daily field/drilling reports
General field and camp duties as required
Software exposure: Excel, QGIS (Micromine/ioGAS exposure possible)
Key requirements:
* 1–2 years exploration experience (or strong recent field exposure)
* First Aid (essential or willingness to obtain)
* 4WD training desirable (not essential)
* Full Australian work rights
3) Project Geologist – Uranium Exploration (LD18250) | FIFO Perth 8:6 | Contract-to-Perm
Join a well‑funded explorer launching aggressive exploration across a large, high‑potential tenement package in the NT. This is a hands‑on role suited to a driven field geologist who enjoys remote work and a small, high‑performing team.
Plan and execute field exploration programmes
Support RC and diamond drilling design/execution, logging and sampling
Apply GIS and 3D modelling (Leapfrog/Micromine or similar) for interpretation and targeting
Help refine the exploration model and drill planning
Champion safety, environmental and cultural heritage standards
Key requirements:
* 3–5 years mineral exploration experience
* RC and diamond drilling exposure (design, supervision and/or logging)
* Comfortable with GIS; intermediate 3D modelling skills
* Strong field capability and a proactive, team‑first approach
