Senior Interior Designer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in developing and delivering sophisticated interior packages for significant medium to large-scale healthcare projects.

About the Role:

* Collaborate closely with senior architects, fellow interior designers, and project teams to deliver high-quality interior designs.
* Play a key role in preparing engaging presentations for design workshops and user groups.
* Drive the design documentation process from initial concept sketches to detailed construction documentation.
* Showcase your expertise by curating materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures that elevate healthcare spaces.
* Contribute significantly to project delivery, including managing RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and participating in inspections.
* Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project success.
* Manage budgets and adhere to financial guidelines to keep projects on track.
* Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering their skills and providing valuable feedback.

About You:

* Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent qualification.
* 10+ years of solid post-graduate experience in interior design.
* Demonstrated experience leading projects, especially within the Health sector.
* A knack for coordinating and leading internal project teams and external consultant teams.
* Exceptional documentation skills with an eagle eye for detail.
* Strong understanding of Australian Standards and NCC.
* Proficiency in software like Revit and Enscape, and comfortable with 3D modeling apps and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Fantastic time management skills – you can juggle competing priorities and consistently hit deadlines and project milestones.
* Proven experience in building and managing great client relationships and expectations.
