We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing first-line technical support for devices and IT equipment, managing user accounts and passwords, identifying and reporting recurring technical issues, deploying and configuring new hardware, maintaining and updating software and systems, performing hardware repairs and maintenance, managing IT asset inventory and disposal, creating user guides and FAQs, documenting IT procedures and configurations, assisting with audio-visual setup for events, and managing the loan and return of school equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support for devices and IT equipment.
* User Account Management: Manage user accounts and passwords.
* Troubleshooting: Identify and report recurring technical issues.
* Hardware Deployment: Deploy and configure new hardware.
* Software Maintenance: Maintain and update software and systems.
* Hardware Repairs: Perform hardware repairs and maintenance.
* Inventory Management: Manage IT asset inventory and disposal.
* User Guides: Create user guides and FAQs.
* Documentation: Document IT procedures and configurations.
* Event Support: Assist with audio-visual setup for events.
* Equipment Management: Manage the loan and return of school equipment.
Essential Criteria: Adhere to work health and safety standards, work cooperatively in a team, prioritise and complete set tasks in a timely and organised manner, attention to detail, ability to problem solve, proficient computer, written and oral communication skills, shows initiative and is self-motivated, and willingness to perform additional duties related to the role within the capabilities of the position.
Position Details: The position is ongoing, part-time, 32 hours per week or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
