Jim Pearson Transport is a leading name in the Australian transport industry, committed to maintaining the highest standards in safety, compliance, and operational excellence. We're currently seeking a Fatigue & Compliance Administrator to join our team in Port Macquarie. This position plays a key role in ensuring our drivers and fleet remain compliant with the Heavy Vehicle National Law and Fatigue Management requirements.
The Role
You'll be responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and maintaining the company's Driver Fatigue Management System. Working closely with driver trainers and management, you'll ensure all fatigue, mass, and speed compliance standards are met, while keeping the business aligned with evolving legislative and industry obligations.
Key Accountabilities
* Maintain and monitor an efficient and effective Driver Fatigue Management System.
* Enter and verify Work Diary pages using company compliance systems in accordance with AFM and BFM requirements.
* Produce and follow up on Non-conformance Reports for fatigue, speed, or mass breaches.
* Liaise with Driver Trainers regarding non-compliant drivers to ensure corrective actions are taken.
* Generate weekly and monthly compliance reports for management.
* Label, archive, and maintain Work Diary documentation every 12 months.
* Monitor fatigue monitoring systems and DG Tunnel routes, reporting any anomalies.
* Provide administrative and compliance support to the Driver Training Department.
* Maintain Cleaning Log Schedules to ensure food safety compliance.
* Keep up to date with regulatory changes impacting transport operations, fatigue management, and accreditation.
* Provide reception support when required.
* Working with drivers and driver trainers to ensure compliance with current legislation and company policy.
* Staying current with industry regulations and driver qualification standards.
* Maintaining focus and accuracy within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
About You
We're looking for someone highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You enjoy working within systems, solving problems, and ensuring everything runs by the book.
You'll bring
* Strong computer literacy (experience with compliance and tracking systems advantageous).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A sharp eye for detail and accuracy.
* Understanding of WHS, and quality management practices.
* Experience in a compliance, administration, or transport industry role (preferred).
