**About the Role**
The Community Engagement Advisor will provide community engagement and stakeholder management services in relation to our projects. The role will support the Project Team and our management on matters relating to Community and Stakeholder Engagement.
**The purpose of the role is to**:
- Support the wider team in the implementation of community and stakeholder engagement requirements across a portfolio of wind and solar projects.
- To competently and positively represent our company to local communities and stakeholders, through written, phone and in-person communications.
- Enhance our positive reputation as a wind farm developer by providing information and liaising with the local communities.
- To assist in establishing and maintaining an acceptable social license to operate our projects and reduce the risk of community dissatisfaction.
- Support the Communications Manager by providing project information for corporate communications activities such as political engagements, press releases and branding activities.
**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualification with a minimum of two years of experience in community engagement, community relations, stakeholder management in the renewable energy or relevant other industry.
- Valid driving licence.
- Experience of implementing community engagement strategies.
- Experience of liaising with local communities and a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of effective community engagement principles and techniques for rural communities
