PRIMARY DETAIL Fixed-term contract (1 year) full-time opportunity in the healthcare administration and bookings team. Position based in Macquarie University Hospital (North Ryde) Competitive salary package. The Role We are currently seeking an accomplished health professional with leadership experience to join the team at MQ Health in our available 1 year fixed-term Patient Services Team Leader role. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all patients at MQ Health are provided with outstanding customer service during the key patient processes such booking, pre-admission, admission and inpatient stays at Macquarie University Hospital. Reporting to the Patient Services Manager, you will lead a team of Patient Admission Officer’s in ensuring all essential admissions details and administration tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will also provide direction and guidance for this team to execute all services and administration tasks in accordance with industry standards, whilst also recommending opportunities for process improvement. To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated leadership experience in a hospital setting (private hospital experience desired). You also would have had exposure to working closely with medium to large sized teams, particularly in health operations.
