Recruitment Revolution is excited to be working with a leading OEM of specialist equipment for the mining, water, defense and transport industries. Their key strength lies in large-scale project management and enjoy a robust reputation for delivering national projects. 
Due to successfully executing several large engineering projects, our client has an immediate need for an experienced Engineering/Project Coordinator based in Newcastle. 
In this role you will be projects focused and you will be expected to bring together various engineering disciplines providing critical information and expertise to the project team and will included; 
Technical and Contractual document preparation and drafting on word and excel, as well 
Provide discipline support to project teams 
Maintain knowledge of the latest standards, legislation, products and practices relating to the relevant engineering discipline to reinforce skilled competency 
Oversee overall technical quality, integrity and adequacy of designs 
Manage "Requests for Information" from clients and contractors 
Provide scope control and scope communication to all parties 
Review and coordinate engineering input into procurement and construction contract packages 
Review tender evaluations, bid clarifications and recommendations 
Scrutinize project components to enhance value of the capital investment 
Track WIP 
Coordinate with workshop/site for engineering needs 
Ensure that equipment designs, installation standards and work practices are compliant with the appropriate electrical regulatory requirements, industry codes of practice and company safety standards 
General Requirements 
Degree in Engineering highly regarded 
Background in Manufacturing/Engineering 
Knowledge of MS Project and Project Management principles 
The ability to solve problems and make good decisions in a timely manner, consulting others when appropriate; 
Proven ability to work in a team workplace (Communication with Designers, Construction Personnel, Client and Management); 
Excellent communication and client management experience 
To be able to work autonomously 
Minimum of 2 years Australian experience
