Rockhampton Business Machines (RBM) are proud Sales and Service providers of quality laser printers, photocopiers and multi-function devices for both Canon and Toshiba in the Central Queensland region. The RBM group has successfully serviced this region for over 50 years enjoying strong relationships with many customers from both Commercial and Government sectors
The Location
RBM is based in Rockhampton Central Queensland which is located 630 km north of Brisbane. The nearby beach side communities of Yeppoon and Emu Park are a short drive by car and provide easy access to the islands of the Great Barrier Reef. The region is the gateway to the Bowen Basin coal mine strip and the Harbour City of Gladstone which has grown to be the premier heavy industrial centre in QLD.
The Role
RBM is seeking the services of a permanent full time Admin Officer who's responsibilities will include, but not limited to -
* Reporting to the Admin Supervisor
* Greeting our clients on entry to premises
* Answering calls, directing calls to other relevant staff members or taking detailed messages regarding customer service requests
* Logging service calls on our internal system for the RBM Service Team
* Completion of general administrative duties including data entry, file opening, archiving, photocopying, scanning of documents, sending correspondence and shredding.
* Managing our database ensuring the integrity of data entry
* Facilitating some client payments utilizing EFTPOS device
* Collection and distribution of incoming mail.
* Process orders with our primary suppliers on behalf of our Sales Depart
* Create customer profiles on our system with detailed accuracy.
* Process both machine orders and parts orders on behalf of our Sales and Service teams including stock receipting, stock management and arranging customer delivery
* Preparation of our daily outgoing mail, including all toner parcel deliveries to our local Central QLD customers
* Replenishment of office supplies.
* General housekeeping of the office areas.
* Assisting with current projects, including marketing, events and networking.
The Person
The successful applicant should possess -
* Previous admin / office experience is seen as favorable.
* Exceptional customer service - Customer focused.
* High level presentation and communication skills including excellent telephone manner.
* Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
* Positive attitude and pro-active work ethic.
* Organised with excellent time management skills.
* Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
* A high level of attention to detail
