The Position Sharp & Carter are currently partnering with a National organisation based in Brisbane’s Sourthern suburbs to recruit a permanent full-time Accounts Receivable Officer. Working closely with the senior finance team, this position plays a key role within the finance team and is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely management of invoicing, debtor collections and NDIS billing processes. This role will suit a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Managing the end-to-end accounts receivable function including invoicing, receipting and allocation of payments Following up outstanding debtor payments and preparing debt write-off submissions where required Maintaining accurate revenue and receivables data within the finance system, including journal entries and reconciliations Acting as a key facilitator across the NDIS portal, supporting billing processes, service agreements and plan funding Ensuring compliance and accurate data management across finance and care management systems Producing high-quality work with strong attention to detail and meeting strict turnaround times and deadlines Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements within the finance function Maintaining confidentiality and supporting a safe and professional workplace culture Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar Accounts Receivable or finance role Post-secondary qualifications in Accounting or a related discipline will be highly regarded Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competing priorities within strict timeframes while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong competency across the Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across both office and operational teams Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and provide regular updates on key deliverables Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and evolving environment Sound judgement, initiative and strong problem-solving capabilities High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information Current driver’s license required How to Apply Sharp & Carter often have a range of positions available that may not yet be advertised.
