Seeking a capable Supply Chain Officer to support a Procurement and Supply team in Jandakot, starting ASAP
Your new company
An organisation in Jandakot are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Supply Chain Officer to join the Procurement and Supply team. This role would be offered on an initial 3-month temporary contract, with a possible extension offered should all go well. You will be required to work full-time hours Monday to Friday, and will be paid competitively.
Your new role
As the Supply Chain Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Communicating with suppliers and key stakeholders, building and maintaining relationships and monitoring contractual compliance
* Providing advisory services internally regarding supply delivery services and processes
* Work closely with procurement and supply to support purchasing processes, variants to orders and other supply activities
* Work closely with external clients around contract management, system improvements and quality assurance
* Monitor inventory purchases using Oracle and reporting systems
* Analyse demand data, producing reports on findings and reporting on supplier performance
* Liaise with suppliers to expedite inventory requirements
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Advanced experience in the delivery of supply distribution
* A confident understanding of supply chain functions
* Advanced communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
* Substantial computer skills with a working knowledge of warehousing software programs, ideally with experience using Oracle
* An understanding of inventory purchasing and supply chain strategies
