Reporting to the Manager People and Capability, the People Systems Lead represents the People and Capability team to oversee, maintain, and enhance the organisation's HR information systems (HCM/HRIS).
The role ensures data accuracy, efficient processes, and alignment with organisational needs, while supporting system upgrades, improvements, and communication across the organisation
Position Description - People Systems Lead
Key responsibilities are:
* Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues in collaboration with the Project Lead Strategic System Deployment (HCM).
* Coordinating system updates, enhancements, and configuration changes for the People and Capability team.
* Leading communication and change management to support system adoption.
* Providing system-related recruitment support (job postings, applicant tracking, offers, onboarding workflows, contract variations).
* Updating user guides, reference materials, and People system documentation (including staff intranet).
* Delivering training and support to system users and team members.
* Demonstrating organisational values and providing a positive customer experience.
* Contributing to a strong WHS culture where safety is everyone's priority
About you:
You bring a blend of technical HRIS expertise, problem solving capability, and a collaborative approach.
You will have:
* Strong understanding of HR processes and HRIS/HCM platforms (Oracle desirable).
* Proven experience implementing or maintaining HR systems.
* Analytical skills with attention to detail, enabling you to interpret data, resolve system issues, and produce accurate workforce insights.
* Ability to design workflows or automations that improve HR efficiency.
* Confident IT capability across corporate systems and tools.
* Skill in identifying risks and recommending effective solutions.
* Clear and engaging communication skills, including delivering training and presentations.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within project environments.
The successful candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred).
* Experience in People related systems administration or HRIS management.
* Familiarity with recruitment processes and HR compliance requirements.
* Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.

Salary range is between $107,544 and $114,343 plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications.
