About the Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our Rottnest Island team, responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance activities for the contract.
In addition to preventative work, the role will involve general reactive maintenance, fault finding, and installation tasks and will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and ensuring alignment with contractual, financial, and safety requirements of electrical maintenance activities.
Daily commuting via ferry from Fremantle or Hillarys Boat Harbour.
The role involves weekend shifts and being part of an on-call roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the facility.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults quickly and efficiently.
- Conduct system inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Install and upgrade electrical systems, including lighting, power, and security.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
- Support high-security systems and emergency electrical services.
- Follow strict safety protocols and work in a high-security environment.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’re passionate about delivering high-quality work and are deeply committed to safety; both for yourself and your team.
Additionally, you will have:
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology
- A Grade Electrical License
- Current driver’s license and White Card (preferred)
- A professional approach to the workplace
- Proven ability to deliver high-standard work
- A solid understanding of and commitment to quality, environmental, and OH&S; management systems
