About the opportunity

- Develop and implement individual and group activity programs.

- Encourage resident participation based on interests and abilities.

- Assist with outings, events, and special celebrations.

- Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and feedback.

- Collaborate with care staff and families to tailor activities.

- Monitor and report changes in residents' behavior or mood.

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

- Compassionate and patient demeanor.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Creativity in planning meaningful activities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Understanding of dementia and other age-related conditions.

- Basic computer and documentation skills.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

- A current Police Record Check

- First Aid and CPR certificate
