Sydney Lux Body Repairs is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a range of light vehicles, ensuring all work meets industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical faults in light vehicles using appropriate diagnostic tools Perform servicing, preventative maintenance, and repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, and steering systems
Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions
Replace or repair defective parts and components
Conduct road testing to ensure repairs are completed to a high standard
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
Other general workshop duties where
required Skills and ExperienceTo be considered for this role, you must have:
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic
Certificate Ilin Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent]
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Current Manual Driving License
Motor Mechanic Repair Class Tradespeson's certificate.
