About the Business Our Communications and Engagement team provides services and advice across a range of areas, including internal and external promotions, media and risk management, sector and stakeholder engagement, events, social media, graphic and multimedia design, website, and intranet content.
Role Details The Communications Manager – Disability Services is a role within the Office of the Chief Executive and Governance, accountable to the Director, Communications and Engagement. Responsibilities include:
Providing leadership in the Disability Services Communications team and supporting high-level communications and change initiatives for the Disability Services Division. Leading and managing the development and implementation of strategic communications aligned with the department's Public Affairs approach. Managing timely and accurate communications, promotional, marketing, and change activities through various channels. Providing expert strategic communications and change advice to internal and external stakeholders relevant to the division. Special Conditions National Police Check required. Some out-of-hours work may be required. Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required. Must hold a current Australian issued driver's licence (minimum class C). Role status: Term up to 09/04/2027.
