Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Site Leadership: Lead, train, and direct Site staff and contractors to achieve operational excellence.
* Operational Excellence: Manage and support daily job prestarts, inductions, and site programming to avoid delays and maximize resource efficiency.
* Quality & Safety: Champion a safety culture by conducting SWMS verifications, weekly inspections, and toolbox talks.
* Project Compliance: Adhere to HSEQ Management Systems and ensure all works meet project specifications and drawings.
* Financial Accountability: Identify potential cost variations and monitor labour scheduling to maintain project budget controls.
Desired Skills And Experience
What You Bring
* Experience: 3 years as a Leading Hand or Site Foreman, specifically within the Commercial Interior Fit-out sector.
* Qualifications: A trade certificate in Carpentry or a Bachelor of Building is essential.
* Tech Skills: Essential proficiency in IPM and Procore, along with MS Office and Excel.
* Safety First: A current First Aid Certificate and a valid White Card (General Induction for Construction Work).
* Attributes: You are professional, presentable, and possess polished communication skills to manage diverse stakeholders and resolve disputes.
