The Role
This Reception & Admissions Administrator position is a full‐time role sitting within the Senior School Admissions office. It is a pivotal front‐facing position, combining reception responsibilities with administrative coordination and system support. You will be the first point of contact for parents, prospective families and visitors, ensuring a warm, polished and professional experience at all times. Alongside front‐of‐house duties, you will provide essential administrative support including data entry, physical filing and assisting with the transition to Salesforce. This role works closely with the Manager of Admissions and a newly appointed Concierge.
The Duties
* Greet and welcome parents, students and visitors to the Admissions office
* Escort visitors to relevant areas of the school where required
* Manage front desk enquiries in a calm, professional and discreet manner
* Support admissions processes with data entry and database management
* Assist with the transition from Synergetic to Salesforce
* Maintain accurate physical and digital filing systems
* Work collaboratively with the wider school administration team
* Handle sensitive family information with the highest level of confidentiality

* Have previous experience in a school, education setting, or similarly professional environment (e.g. legal or corporate front‐of‐house)
* Present in a conservative and professional manner
* Be articulate, warm and confident when engaging with families and stakeholders
* Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and strong administrative capability
* Be adaptable and proactive, with a "no task too small" attitude
* Show resilience and discretion in a fast‐paced, high‐profile environment
* Have strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems (Salesforce experience advantageous but not essential)
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Working With Children Check
* Be a team player
