Overview
The Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) reviews research projects to ensure they meet ethical requirements. As a member, you will play a vital role in this process.
HREC meetings are held on the first Friday of every month, with remote participation optional. Members are expected to attend meetings and review applications between sessions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to listen to and appreciate diverse views, and formulate a considered opinion. They will also have an interest in ethics and sufficient time to dedicate to the role.

* Desirable qualifications include knowledge of professional care, counselling, or treatment, pastoral/community leadership roles, qualified lawyers, or a broader community/consumer perspective
