Ellico Group is a trusted labour-hire and project support provider servicing major coal mining clients across the Bowen Basin. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a structured and proactive Operations Coordinator to join our Mackay office.
This role is central to maintaining operational efficiency across multiple mine sites. You will work closely with senior management and the operations team to ensure planning, compliance, reporting, and workforce deployment are executed to a high standard.
The Role
* Support operational planning and daily workflow coordination within the office
* Assist with management reporting including performance and cost tracking
* Participate in internal planning meetings and contribute to operational decision-making
* Oversee mobilisation readiness including compliance tracking, documentation control, and onboarding status
* Coordinate workforce rosters alongside the Workforce Coordinator to ensure effective site coverage
* Contribute to budget preparation and monitor operational expenditure
* Monitor fatigue management compliance and workforce allocation
* Maintain operational registers, reporting systems, and document control processes
Experience and Capability
* Experience in mining, labour-hire, industrial services, or similar operational environments
* Understanding of workforce mobilisation and site compliance requirements
* Financial awareness with exposure to reporting or cost tracking
* Strong organisational and coordination capability
* Confident communicator able to liaise with clients, managers, and field teams
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems
* Practical, solutions-focused approach
