About the role
This is a permanent full time position where you will be working under a highly respected General Counsel, playing an active role supporting internal teams by providing high level and strategic advice on commercial contracts, dealing with customer facing issues and much more. Diversity will be the central theme, but some of the key tasks this role entails are:
* Drafting, negotiating and assisting on industrial supply contracts with a range of customers (large to small);
* Assisting in responses to customer-driven tender processes, including identification of legal risks in customer’s proposed purchasing terms;
* Drafting, negotiating and assisting on a range of other contracts with agents and distributors and suppliers (including contracts for services, equipment purchases and transport sourcing).
About you
With a minimum of five commercial law experience you will be comfortable advising on large and small transactions, have excellent stakeholder interaction skills and a key eye for detail. Depending on your experience or appetite to learn you can also take on interesting project work in employment law, WHS, privacy and franchise law.
