About the role:
Dispense Direct continues to grow rapidly in the exciting plant-based medicine space and we are seeking to appoint a Dispense Technician who is excited to join the medical cannabis community. In the role, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including:
* Provide the highest standard of customer service to our patients over the phone, with a focus on education, transparency and safety.
* Dispensing specialised medical cannabis prescriptions.
* Work in cooperation with Pharmacists to ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications
* Work closely with clinic partners, and maintain relationships with doctors, nurses and practice managers.
* Work with all medical science liaisons from key brands to assist with educating patients on their products.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical research in key therapeutic areas and medical cannabis products.
* Packing patient orders for daily collection.
* Dispensary inventory control and stock movement into and within the pharmacy

* Outstanding inventory control skills
Candidate requirements:
* At least 1 year working as a Dispense Technician
* Experience working in a fast-paced pharmacy
* Experience with medicinal cannabis products will be highly regarded
* Proficiency with Z Software is viewed favorably
