It has strong links with a number of General Practitioners, Psychiatrists, and community groups in the local area.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate psychologist with excellent CBT skills and experience in high prevalence conditions to service adult and potentially teenage populations.
The role involves providing individual therapy sessions, with potential involvement in facilitating some of our group programs.
Your initial appointment will commence at 2 sessions per week (across two different days), with the possibility of increasing hours over the coming months as the role develops.
Candidate Requirements
Completion of a Masters or Doctoral Degree in Psychology (preferably Clinical Psychology)
AHPRA registration (or ability to obtain it)
Registration as a Medicare Provider (or ability to obtain it)
A registered ABN (or ability to obtain it)
Exceptional interpersonal skills, personal integrity, and professional standards, including understanding of and adherence to ethical guidelines
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
Experience working in the public system (preferred)
Demonstrated report writing skills
