About the role:
We are currently seeking a detail orientated accounts and administration assistant to join our firm. As part of the finance and administration teams you will handle the accounts administration, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to our General Manager your responsibilities include:
· Managing accounts receivable and the issuing of invoices
· Reconciliation of payments and expenses
· Responding to internal and external account enquiries
· Liaising with clients on credit terms and overdue payments
· Providing general administrative and office support to our team as required
Selection criteria – the ideal candidate will have:
Outstanding attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
Experience in accounts or bookkeeping.
Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office suite.
Our firm uses an IP-specialist practice management tool called Equinox, which integrates with Xero for invoicing purposes. If you already have skills with this application, we'd love to hear about it. Otherwise, you should have a willingness to get up to speed with it quickly.
A love of technology and desire to utilise technology to streamline processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
