Join the Patient Safety team and support the Subacuteand Ambulatory Care Services within the department of Medicine leadership team to develop and implement departmental quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and experience.

The Role
* Will support the Subacuteand Ambulatory Care Services within the department of Medicine leadership team to develop and implement departmental quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and experience.
* Will drive department level initiatives to address specific areas of concern relating to quality, clinical treatment, patient/client safety, risk management, and progress accreditation requirements.
* Access, monitor and evaluate department level clinical data and indicators as required and provide relevant advice and recommendations to the leadership team.
* Drive the use of co‐design and consumer engagement within the department and champion the use of Patient Experience Data to focus improvement opportunities.

Details of appointment
Permanent part time, day worker position, working up to 64 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary
$118,297 to $125,543 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

Essential Criteria
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
Desirable Criteria
* Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualifications.
* Current Driver's Licence.
