Lead Content Designer
Remote is seeking a Lead Content Designer to join the team at Remote-PTY. The Content Designer will promote modifications to web services, manage web content, identify opportunities to consolidate, simplify, streamline, and continually improve Remote-PTY's intranet footprints.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote change and drive digital transformation.
* Provide subject matter expertise in complex web content research, authoring, editing, layout, publication, monitoring, and review of cloud-related web content.
* Collaborate with and support cloud technicians, managers, ITSEC, web publishers, and users to ensure web content is current, compliant, concise, relevant, accessible, and intuitive across multiple intranets.
* Support continual improvement practices and ensure web content changes are approved and reflect Remote-PTY's core values.
* Identify and support the adoption of web functionalities, usage, and reinforcement of changes to enhance user experience.
* Work with cloud technicians to establish and migrate web content on intranets using systems like Drupal and SharePoint.
* Ensure web content security by identifying and investigating security concerns, and overseeing configuration and maintenance of system software.
* Apply legislative requirements, principles, and work practices, including management of corporate information in accordance with industry standards.
Technical Skills Required:
* Highly skilled in administering Drupal and SharePoint content management systems.
* Experience installing and configuring open source and/or commercial software packages (e.g., PHP, Python, Java).
* Proficient in drafting, authoring, and reviewing web content, working with domain experts to translate knowledge into web content tailored for audiences.
* Understanding of web content accessibility and adjusting writing styles accordingly.
* Ability to document daily work processes for knowledge transfer and compliance.
* Experience monitoring site analytics, improving content design and publication processes, and conducting user research for content and architecture improvements.
* Minimum of 5+ years in organizational change management, especially in digital transformation.
* Experience working with stakeholders of various backgrounds and seniorities to produce consistent web content.
* Excellent business writing and communication skills to influence senior management decisions.
