Project Manager
We are seeking a Project Manager who will lead the planning, procurement and delivery of minor capital works across a diverse built‐assets portfolio, steering projects from concept to completion while balancing time, cost, quality and stakeholder expectations in a fast‐moving, agile environment. * Employment with Museums of History NSW.
* Clerk Grade 9/10. Remuneration package includes salary ($129,464 - $142,665), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
* Full-time employment on a temporary basis for a period up to 6 months.
* The role will work across Sydney.
What we do
Museums of History NSW brings together a portfolio of iconic museums, rich collections and heritage sites, the nation's oldest archive collection, vital recordkeeping services and expert staff.
We bring history to life by sharing the stories of our places and collections. Through the State Archives Collection, we manage NSW's official documentary heritage, supporting government transparency and the public's right to access information.
These two roles do not just sit side by side – they inform and enrich each other. By preserving and making accessible our places, collections and archives, we create opportunities for people to explore the past and better understand their own place in the world. Museums of History NSW is a state cultural institution, established under the Museums of History NSW Act 2022. It is an agency of the NSW Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (DCITHS).

What you need to do to apply

1. Give an example of a situation where you were required to develop a process, implement and upskill officers who are not your direct reports. What were the challenges? What strategies did you use and what was the outcome?
2. Operating at a senior level, please provide example/s of your demonstrated experience in leading and collaborating with a range of specialist consultants and services providers to deliver planned program outcomes.
Essential requirements of the role:
* In depth understanding of managing Mini Minor Works, MW21 & GC21 Contracts.
* Willingness and ability to work across and travel to multiple work locations.
