About Happy Health
Located in Warners Bay NSW, Happy Health specialises in delivering high-quality workplace health services to employers throughout Newcastle and surrounding areas. Our offerings include pre-employment and periodic health assessments, conducted both at our office and onsite. In this role, you will be responsible for advising employers on strategies to minimise health risks within the work environment, while also empowering employees to better manage their own health.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will either have experience in, or be eager to gain experience in, a variety of health assessments, and meet the following criteria:
Proven ability to conduct health and functional capacity assessments. Training will be provided for audiometry, spirometry, and drug & alcohol testing, if necessary
Experience in NSW Coal Services Order 43 medical assessments (desirable but not essential)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and warmly with both customers and staff
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate, clear, and concise reports
A strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to ensure appointments run smoothly and on time
A team player who is committed to supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Encourages and embraces continuous improvement initiatives
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy
Comfortable and confident in driving an automatic van
While this role will be based in our Warners Bay office, the successful candidate must have the capacity and willingness to work in our Singleton office and onsite in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley area as required. This may include work outside of the normal 9-5 working day.
Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration and formal training in your field of work
