**Job Title**: Spanish Speaking Support Worker

As a Spanish Speaking Support Worker at Guardian Care Community Innovation, you will provide a reliable and client-centric service to maintain and enhance the physical and social wellbeing of our clients. We aim to help our clients develop and maintain skills to feel they are active and able members of the community. Our services include personal care, community access, home care, capacity building, and respite for their carers. Part-time contracts are available for a minimum of 20 to 38 hours per week, with paid annual leave, sick pay, and superannuation benefits.

- Manual handling Certificate

**Tasks**:
As a Spanish Speaking Support Worker, your tasks will include tending to the needs of the clients and their requests. This may include cleaning, cooking for the clients, taking them out for daily activities, showering the clients, dressing them, assisting them with medication if needed, and providing general care.
**Collaboration**:
Clear communication and teamwork are essential for this role. Collaboration with other staff members is necessary to adequately and efficiently provide the care needed for the clients.
**Client Population**:
Our clientele demographic ranges from clients who struggle with physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, illnesses, medical issues, or are just in need of general company and supervision.
**Work Environment**:
Our services are in a community-based setting as all our workers usually meet their clients at their homes.
**Shift Requirements**:
Day, evening, and overnight shifts are available with part-time employment to begin with, as well as the chance for full-time for the right applicant.
**Location**:
We service the western, northern, eastern, and inner suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria.
