About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic person with an Advanced Boiler license for a 6 month contract. Responsible for operating coal and gas boilers and associated equipment, you will be exposed to a range of opportunities to develop your skills within a highly supportive team based environment.
Candidate Requirements
Ability to work 12 hour shifts/ 7 day rotating roster
Be able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision;
Be able to work alone at night and weekends without supervision;
Be able to work in an environment where manual handling including operating valves, shovelling etc. will be required;
Be able to climb ladders and stairs and work at heights;
Be able to enter and work in confined spaces;
Hold a current drivers license;
Be able to communicate verbally with fellow team members;
Have sufficient literacy and computer skills to be able to read and understand written communications and instructions, fill out production and other records, and operate equipment via SCADA and HMI interfaces;
Be willing to contribute continuous improvement and Work Health and Safety
Essential Skills
Current High Risk Work license to operate advanced boilers;
Previous trades or operations experience in a manufacturing environment;
Current fork lift license;
Manufacturing facility, industrial environment, working with automatic and manually activated machinery.
